Gethsemane Times Two

January 4, 2026 | Keith

Today I’m trying something a little different, offering up two songs with the same name. I’ve found it interesting that, as different as these tracks are, they share a similar epic journey feel. They’re both long, they both have multiple stylistic transitions and they both seem to tell nuanced stories.

First up, Car Seat Headrest. Such a good track, and even better live.

Second, we have Sleep Token, a band I haven't really connected with, but can appreciate both musically and aesthetically, and this track rocks.
